Our Materials
Cashmere: considered as one of the most distinguished fibers, cashmere is harvested from the undercoat of Hircus goats, primarily raised in Mongolia. This fiber is incredibly light, soft, and silky to the touch, making it very pleasant to wear. It embodies elegance, luxury, and comfort.Despite its lightness, cashmere is an excellent thermal insulator, capable of retaining body heat, making it ideal for cold climates.Merino Wool: Sourced from Merino sheep, this fine wool is renowned for its softness and skin-friendly properties in addition to its lightness and temperature-regulating capabilities.Lambswool is a natural fiber coming from the first shearing of a sheep. It is soft, elastic, and slippery, making it highly sought for its fine quality.Silk: for its shirts and blouses, Nodi di Lana exclusively uses 100% silk, a precious material known for its sheen and softness. Naturally breathable, silk makes the shirt suitable for any season and maintains its beauty over the years.

Cashmere care
Many believe that cashmere is a difficult fiber to care for. In reality, this is not at all true: first of all, cashmere needs to be washed. The naturalness of the fiber requires a good level of humidity. Water, in addition to purifying the fibers during the first washes, allows the garment to maintain its softness and elasticity. Frequent washing is therefore the best friend of your new cashmere garment.Wash the garment in cold water, at a maximum of 20°. In the washing machine, prefer a hand wash program and abundant rinsing. Use a gentle neutral detergent. Once washed, do not wring it out or hang it up, but lay it flat, preferably on a cotton cloth, always in the shade. Direct sunlight could ruin the color. Never hang it to avoid losing its shape and fit.We suggest ironing the garment inside out, at low temperatures. Too high temperatures can damage fibers. Remember to store your cashmere garment completely dry in our Nodi di Lana cotton bag, in a cool and dry place. If you take good care of your Nodi di Lana garment it will last for endless seasons..
